Position: Financial Analyst I
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Newark, NJ
Responsibilities:
• Position will assist with reconciliations, creation of journal entries, and review of data to determine accuracy, creation of bills to our vendors, etc
• Need an understanding of accounting, so can prepare the journal entries
• Need Access skill to be able to do queries, comparison, and summary of data (which could be large volume of records)
• Needs Excel skills in order to create summary analysis, calculations, vlookup, pivot tables to review the data, for accuracy, and for analysis
• Good Access and Excel skills to manipulate the data for various analysis, creation of invoices, and journals, and review of data with other departments
Education/Experience:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university
• Requires zero to two years business experience, preferably in general accounting, financial analysis or related function
