Notification Of Administrative Position For 2026 - 2027 School Year

Position Available: High School Principal (9-12)

Job Function:

• Responsible for the organization, management, and evaluation of all High School (9–12) programs, services, culture, activities, and personnel
• Execute the policies and administrative directives of the National Trail Local School Board of Education in accordance with Ohio School Law and Standards
• Provide instructional leadership and support for staff, including guidance with curriculum and professional growth
• Supervise the operation and preservation of the building, grounds, and equipment
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students and staff
• Maintain high standards of student conduct
• Oversee student discipline and attendance
• Manage building-level budgets and school funds
• Coordinate co-curricular and extra-curricular programs
• Foster positive communication with students, families, staff, and the community
• Support a collaborative and professional school environment
• Ensure compliance with OTES and OSCES evaluation models
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Graduation Requirements and have a working understanding of alternative graduation pathways
• Uphold all reporting and administrative responsibilities in collaboration with the Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Successful administrative experience preferred
• 5+ years teaching/educational experience
• Understanding and experience of the OTES and OSCES Evaluation models

Wage or Salary:

Competitive salary and benefits package offered in accordance with the administrative salary schedule and Board of Education contract.
