Junior Analyst

You're an experienced Junior Analyst who wants your work to have a real impact. You'll own a portfolio of clients end-to-end — building their financial models, running their monthly numbers, and fielding questions directly from owners and their investors. The models and analysis you build help business owners unplug on vacation, get time back with their families, and enjoy running their companies again.

You'll report to our Senior Analyst and work directly alongside our senior partners and managing partner — a small, senior team where your work is visible and your growth into Finance Manager or VP Finance is real, not aspirational.

Across your portfolio you'll handle financial modelling, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, scenario planning and variance analysis. You'll build 3-statement financial models from the ground up, then run and adjust them every month against each client's actual results.

You'll work across a wide range of platforms including Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Glew.io, Amazon Seller/Vendor, Rippling and Gusto. We hire for modelling skill and judgment and will train you on our stack — you don't need prior experience with every tool.

A note on intensity: this is a demanding role, but the intensity is project-driven, not chronic. Crunch clusters around month-end close and client board prep; the rest of the time you own your calendar.

This is a fully remote, Bengaluru-based role. We focus on output and impact rather than hours logged.

Please read this carefully before applying: the role works an evening/overnight India shift to overlap with our North American leadership and marketing teams — consistent overlap with Pacific Time, roughly 6:00am–2:00pm PT, which is about 6:30pm–2:30am IST. Assist Senior Financial Analysts and CFO in:

• Financial Modelling (we build forecasts that are realistic, robust and useful for decision-making)
• Building 3-statement, dynamic financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows)
• Every month, as we meet with clients, you will adjust the models and communicate potential margin/cash flow issues.
• You will field questions and requests from clients, working them into the models.
• You will field questions and requests from potential Investors and adjust models as appropriate.
• You will conduct market research so that our forecasts reflect potential reality
• You will create scenarios for all models so that assumptions can be regularly tested.

Financial Reporting (we look backward so we can look forward to manage cash flow and mitigate risk)

• Monthly reporting including variance analysis
• Creating/updating KPI dashboards
• Creating/maintaining/updating three statement financial forecasts (P&L, Cash Flows, Balance Sheet)
• Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
• Cohort Analysis

What you must have (required)

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Nice to have (bonus)

• eCommerce, agency, or FP&A experience
• Hands-on experience with Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Glew.io or Amazon Seller/Vendor
• Prior client-facing or investor-facing work
